Outdoor micro radio CPE unit with built-in vertical polarization antenna

High performance, low cost	VELA, the latest CPE model by Linkit, is designed to meet the major requirements of WISPs and Internet Operators. Built upon the experience acquired in years of designing and supplying wireless systems, VELA is the only CPE featuring the ArgOS operating system, exclusively optimized in our labs. Integrated radio and antenna in a tiny enclosure	VELA is fully compliant with the IEEE802.11a standard. The enclosure and antenna section are completely designed and manufactured by Linkit, and the complete system measures only 10x14x6 cm. The high gain of the built-in antenna (16 dBi) and the integrated networking features (including advanced routing, NAT, and WDS links) allow the design and operation of large wireless networks which are easy to deploy and to maintain without sacrificing scalability and flexibility.

ArgOS	The ArgOS operating system features an exclusive user interface, specifically designed by Linkit to allow the easy configuration of all operation parameters of the CPE. VELA can be configured in three different modes: User, which only allows the setting of personal access details (network login and password) Easy, which allows the installation technician to control the principal settings from a single screen Advanced, giving the operator or power user complete control over the CPE's configuration.
