Dual Band CHR5020N features two completely independent dual-band radio modules. Each module can be connected to a different type of antenna (directional, sectorial or omnidirectional) in order to satisfy the requirements of any specific application. Output power can be limited to allow the use of high gain antennas without exceeding the limits set forth by international regulations.
Flexibility – Mesh Each radio module can operate in Access Point, Bridge or Station mode. The tworadio modules are completely independent of each other, and can be connected via IP routing. Chronolink equipment can create and manage Mesh networks using a proprietary protocol.
Access Point Function and assigned bandwidth limiting Chronolink allows the management of the available bandwidth as well as of the flow priority and maximum bandwidth assigned to each customer or group of customers; even the most complex Quality of Service requirements can be met through the definition of custom policies.
Optimized for performance: 300Mbps MIMO operation allows the optimization of data rate and throughput by simultaneously using two antennas for transmission. This allows the device to achieve unprecedented effective bit rates of up to 300 Mbps in IEEE802.11n mode.
